Grief to Grace - Healing the Wounds of Abuse is a five-day spiritual and psychological retreat program for anyone who has suffered degradation or violation through physical, emotional, sexual, or spiritual abuse. It is appropriate for those who have endured sexual abuse, rape, incest, or other forms of traumatic violation in childhood, adolescence, or as an adult. Are you struggling with anger? Do you often find yourself more angry than happy or content? Come spend the weekend learning techniques to help you deal with some of the anger in your life! This weekend will be led by Deacon Brian Soileau who spent over two years working with inmates who struggled with anger issues. There will be Holy Mass, workshops, reflective talks, brief silent moments, Eucharistic Adoration, great food and lots of rest! A priestly convocation is a gathering of priests from a particular diocese or religious order, for a period of prayer, reflection, shared learning, and fellowship, often focused on renewing their commitment to their priestly vocation and discussing challenges related to their ministry. Essentially, it is a time for priests to connect with one another and focus on their spiritual development as a community.
