What is Camp Bluebird? A unique experience for adult cancer patients, Camp Bluebird is a 3-day, 2-night camp held once each year. Enjoy the beauty of nature and comfortable accommodations nestled in the Southwest Louisiana countryside where campers receive support in a creative, educational atmosphere.
What is the purpose?

• Suggestions for adjusting to life with cancer
• Tips for giving—and receiving—family support
• An overview of non-medical needs and how to meet them
• Answers to medical concerns
• Information on treatments, side effects and nutrition
• Creative outlets such as arts and crafts
Who can attend? Any adult, age 18 or older, who has been diagnosed with cancer, is invited to attend.

What should I bring? Campers should bring toiletry items, linens, comfortable clothing, and walking shoes. Meals and snacks will be provided.
