The Easley Pavilion overlooks the West Fork of the Calcasieu River. Named for the Easley family, long time supporters of the Center, the covered pavilion has seating for 25-30 people and can be used for activities or individual contemplation. The 900 foot boardwalk begins just behind Mary's Hill and meanders westward through the swamp until the traveler reaches the pavilion.
The Saint Charles Center was designed for peace, tranquility and union with God's gift of nature. Southwest Louisiana plants and wildlife are beautifully incorporated into all facets of the facility. Shadowy walking paths lead to serene alcoves and resting places. Seasonal beauty allows visitors to fully engage all senses as they rest and reflect. The Saint Charles Center is a stunning display of natural beauty.
The New Bethany Cemetery is for the Clergy of the Diocese of Lake Charles. Located under the mossy trees south east of the Tabor Retreat House, the cemetery is easily accessible by family members and friends of our deceased clergy.
